How It Works
Shower steamers are designed to release aroma into the steam around you rather than dissolve in bath water. Lightly wet the steamer to activate it, then place it away from the stream of water. As it fizzes and slowly dissolves, the warm shower carries the essential oil aroma throughout the space. Placement matters: too much direct water can wash the steamer away quickly. Keep it damp enough to stay activated, but out of the constant spray to get more from it.

A shower steamer is an aromatic tablet made to activate with water and release scent into the warm steam around you. Think of it as the shower counterpart to a bath bomb, but you don’t soak in it.
Place it on the shower floor away from the direct stream of water or in a shower steamer bag. Lightly wet it to activate, then let the steam carry the aroma throughout your shower.
Close enough to get splashed occasionally, but not directly beneath the running water. Constant water will make it dissolve much faster.
How quickly it dissolves depends heavily on where you place it and how much water reaches it. Keeping it out of the direct stream will help it last longer. Many customers are able to get 10 minutes out of it or even multiple showers uses.
No. Shower steamers contain a more concentrated amount of essential oils and are formulated to release their aroma into the shower steam, not to soak directly against your skin in bath water. For that reason, they should only be used in the shower and should not be submerged or used as a bath bomb.
Keep it wrapped and somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to use it. Humidity and moisture can start the fizzing reaction early and weaken the shower steamer over time.
